First Impressions: Pink Parcel

November 2017 Favourites

Before I fall headfirst into a snowman, decked in light up jumpers and devouring every candy cane in sight, I thought it would be a good idea to give November its last bit of attention with this favourites  post. I generally enjoy both reading and writing these sorts of posts, so hopefully you will enjoy this mix of things I loved in November, and maybe even try some yourself!

Up first we have the Frosted Plum hand cream from The Body Shop. There is an entire range with this scent, which so happens to be part of their Christmas range. From shower gels and body lotions, to soaps, mists and sugar scrubs, there is something for everyone in this collection. The scent is incredibly floral and fruity, and lingers on the hands for a long time after applying. Most importantly, my very dried out fingers feel particularly nourished and soft, so this will definitely be making its way into my daily routine throughout winter. Why not treat yourself or pick up a Frosted Plum Christmas gift for someone? You can see the complete range here.

Continuing with my praises for The Body Shop (this post is not #sponsored/ad/paid/any of these options, though, I wouldn't say no!) I have another product of theirs which I have fallen for in November. Now, I have always been a Lush girl, so November really was my month of trying new brands. I have to say I am so impressed with The Body Shop! Their Vanilla Pumpkin shower gel is divine! The smallest plop of gel creates the softest lather, and the smell spills out into the bathroom, creating a fantastically festive scent. Whilst I don't think the shower gel is overly pumpkin-y, it is delicious and reminds me of the Christmas Cookie scent which Yankee Candle do. Honestly, you need to try this if you love the scent of cookies baking in the oven.

Next on my list of loves for November is another, somewhat, Christmassy item. Too Faced are well
loved for their seasonal products. Sadly I missed out on grabbing their Gingerbread Man Melted Matte lipstick when it first went on sale, but, a few Depop searches later and I finally managed to get one. The Melted Matte formula is one of my favourites of any liquid lipstick. It is comfortable, non drying on the lips and relatively long lasting for a liquid that has a more satin finish than completely kiss proof matte. Luckily, I got my hands on the seasonal lipstick they released last year, which was hot pink colour, fittingly named Candy Cane. I will have a post dedicated to this lipstick coming up in the next few weeks, so watch this space!

Another beauty product which I loved in November was the Barry M, Fall in Love Palette. Barry M are one of my favourite beauty brands. They are affordable, good value for money and decent for what you are paying. I had seen this palette all over my Instagram and believe it is intended as a dupe for the Anastasia Subculture Palette. The shades are great for daily, casual looks and really capture the essence of Autumn with the red burned out shades. I will be posting a review for this shortly, however, one thing I will note is that the yellow isn't exactly the shade it looks once swatched! Barry M have many cool and exciting products at the moment, see for yourself here.

Moving on from beauty and body products, something else I have been loving in November is the Disney Store Christmas range. Now, November was a very exciting month for me, as I have become a part of the magic in one of the Disney Stores (literally, A DREAM). Recently, the Disney Store came out with some Christmas Tsum Tsum's, of which I am an avid collector. The range includes Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Pluto and Figaro. I opted for Goofy as I love his fairy light decorated jumper, and also because Goofy is one of my top five favourite Disney characters. These Tsum Tsum's are great for stocking fillers/secret santa gifts and treat yo self moments! See the range here.

Along with the items mentioned above, I have film related favourite. November saw the release of Justice League, and whilst I am no fan of Ben Affleck Batman, you won't see me saying no to an Ezra Miller film! The plot leads on from the ending on Batman VS Superman and sees Batman seeking some help from fellow superheroes, forming the Justice League. I found the film to be quite humourous and definitely entertaining. Of course The Flash was my favourite but Wonder Woman was also kicking ass in this. I will always have a Marvel heart but props to DC for making a good one!

That's it for my November Favourites. Let me know what you've been loving recently.

See you in my next post,

Aimee :) x
