Laura Lee Cat's Pajamas Palette: Review

Recently I received a very too good and tempting message from Beauty Bay regarding the Laura Lee Cat's Pajamas palette. It was on offer for £17.50 and with it's pink and gold range of shades, I caved in and purchased it.

2017 Top Trumps

As we move into 2018, with resolutions and wishes for what we hope to happen this year, I thought I would take the time to highlight some of my top things from 2017.

I think it was a mixed bag of a year. I had some incredible highs and a number of lows and I think the same can be said on a more global note. But this post is designed to celebrate some of the positives to come out of 2017, so let's get into it.

* The order of things listed is not ascending unless stated.

First Impressions: Pink Parcel

I recently did a post on Birchbox, a monthly subscription box related to beauty. Part of me cancelled this because I couldn't justify paying for stuff I didn't need, and also, a part of me wanted to explore the realm of subscription boxes further (so technically, my bank account is still suffering).

Now, as fun as it is to receive random bits of beauty each month, I treat myself far too often as it is. Therefore, I opted to subscribe to Pink Parcel, which has an element of need to it, as it is a box designed to help you during that time of the month. That's right. A little pick you up parcel for your periods!

November 2017 Favourites

Before I fall headfirst into a snowman, decked in light up jumpers and devouring every candy cane in sight, I thought it would be a good idea to give November its last bit of attention with this favourites  post. I generally enjoy both reading and writing these sorts of posts, so hopefully you will enjoy this mix of things I loved in November, and maybe even try some yourself!

Birchbox November 2017 Review

When I saw in my October Birchbox that they would be collaborating with Vogue on their next subscription box, I was pretty darn excited. A list of things buzzed through my mind as to what amazing beauty products I would be receiving in the post. A few days ago, my most recent box arrived and I decided to share my thoughts on it in this post.

MUA Silent Disco Palette Review

Hello and welcome back.

It's been a little while since my last makeup review, but that is not indicative of the amount of beauty items I have been buying. My bank account honestly hates me right now!

A few weeks back, I was watching one of my current favourite YouTubers (thisgirlcalledholly) rave about the MUA Silent Disco Palette. And of course, as the sucker for anything the internet tells me to buy, I did exactly that and purchased the palette.

Primark Matte Lipsticks: A Review

Hello everyone,
I am back and bursting with post ideas, which is a Christmas miracle!
I would like to start this by saying I sadly am not NikkieTutorials, so being a beauty Goddess is not part of my CV. However, I am obsessed with liquid lipsticks. From KVD to NYX, nudes to reds, lipsticks are my favourite beauty product.

Kat Von D(ebenhams): Mini Haul

Hello everyone,
Let me start this post by getting the inevitable apologies for delays in posts part out of the way! I would like to say this is a result of my life being super busy but really I'm just very good at procrastinating anything and everything. But alas, here I am, so fresh and clean and filled with quite a few posts in my head, ready to be written.
Unless you've been living under a rock or you live in a country where KVD makeup is accessible, then you will be unaware of the major hype that has rocked the UK given that Kat Von D's insanely beautiful makeup has dropped on our side of the world. Thanks to Debenhams my bank account can now scream even louder over makeup purchases. Now, I did spend around £50, but by no means did I binge buy. I was able to stop myself from getting EVERYTHING and managed to buy just a few things to test out.

Mini Primark haul

Hello everyone,
I'm doing something a bit different today. I was split between blogging this and vlogging it but I haven't been able to find the right time or place to film so here I am, sticking to my best method of communicating what I think is cool.
I am obsessed with hauls lately. Makeup, clothes and 99 Cent Store hauls being my preferred procrastination videos. I went to Primark earlier this month in the search of a few staple pieces and I am here to show you what I bought and why you should buy them on a pay day!

A Little Bit of Lush

Hello everyone,
it's been a little while, mainly because I've been busy at work and planning some of my dissertation, but I'm back with a new post. This is going to be about Lush, the cosmetics/beauty chain which is as ethical as it is wonderful. I recently discovered that my local store is stocking some of the Oxford Street exclusives and so I went and got myself some treats with the hope of having a little series of hauls over the next couple of posts. In each one I'm hoping to give you a little view of three products I've purchased. In no way, shape or form is this post sponsored by Lush, I simply love their values and products and, as someone who is trying to make their makeup and beauty products vegan, I wanted to show that beauty doesn't have to be painful, for you or for animals.
So, let's get into the very first little bit of Lush (none of the following are Oxford St Exclusives):
