Since I've Been Gone

Hello and welcome back

It has been quite a few months since my last post. Given that 90% of my posts seem to start with some kind of apology for my absence, I think we can confirm that my dreams of being some Gossip Girl, super blogger will have to remain in my head!

To amend the Kelly Clarkson classic hit, here's are few things that have happened since I've been gone, and some of them I hope to post about over the next few weeks:

• Some of my favourite artists have thrown out some incredible new music, which I have been loudly, and very out of tune, jamming to. Examples include After Laughter by Paramore and the wonderful and somewhat woeful Lovely Little Lonely by my Arizona Emo Group (The Maine).
• I got a new job. I am not sure if I have mentioned that this happened, but it did! I am still a part time, coffee inhaling Millennial, but I am doing something that makes me feel more mentally cleansed, and I have the loveliest colleagues.
• Bands have been touring. Throughout May and June I saw a variety of acts including With Con, All Time Low and my aforementioned Emo Group at Slam Dunk Midlands.
• I have been saving spending on many makeup products which I will be sharing my opinions on soon.

and, saving the best for last- I GOT A PUPPY! If you know me, you will know I am a crazy dog lady and finally, after months of pestering my parents, we have a new little pupper playmate in our house. He is the main reason for my absence; between poops, walks, playtime and puppy school, there's not a lot of room to sit down and blog.

I hope you are looking forward to some of the posts on my agenda (wow, look at me, pretending blogging is my job and not a sloppy hobby)!
